Yang Weifeng, born in 1978 in Ningxia, is a council member of the China Photographers Association and Vice Chairman of the China Petroleum Photographers Association. Based in Hebei, he works as a media professional at China National Petroleum Corporation while actively pursuing contemporary photography.

For over two decades, he has focused on industrial photography and a philosophical exploration through the lens of social, humanitarian, and ecological themes.

In 2023, he created Heaven and Earth: The Hexi Corridor, traveling over 20,000 kilometers to document the relationship between humans and nature. His work has received international recognition, including an Honorary Mention at the 2025 Florence International Annual Art Exhibition.

Yang’s photographs have been exhibited at the Pingyao International Photography Festival, the Silk Road Image Expo, the China Photography Art Festival, and in institutions such as the China Photography Art Museum and Wuhan Image Art Center. His work continues to engage audiences with its thoughtful, enduring focus on the intersection of people, place, and transformation.
